The driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable but the ride was unpleasant due to how he assigned the seats and the car too small fir such a long ride.
Loved this tour! Our guide Matt was full of useful information and provided great local insights. The Grand Canyon was spectacular and so was Hoover Dam. Lunch was fabulous especially as it was included in the tour price. Highly recommended :-D
What an amazing experience! We were picked up at our hotel promptly with a beautiful brand new Mercedes-Benz sprinter van. We got to Santa Monica Beach in under five hours, we had an hour to ourselves and a wonderful lunch at Rusty’s on the Santa Monica pier. it was beautiful weather. There was no smoke or any visible signs of fire from the LA fires. This was Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Our second adventure was in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive and our third adventure was on the Hollywood Boulevard walk of fame where we got to take pictures of the Hollywood sign and cruise around for an hour until we went back to Las Vegas. What an amazing day! our tour guide was awesome. We highly recommend one day tours. Thank you for fulfilling a bucket list trip for all of us
We took this amazing day tour to the west rim of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam last weekend and we had a great experience. Our guide Steve was terrific and is insightful and knowledgeable on the regions history. He kept us interested the entire time.We were picked up promptly at our Vegas strip hotel at 6:45am and in total there were 11 people on the tour; the van was roomy and very comfortable with reclining leather seats. They also provide bottled water which is a nice perk. The trip takes you through the Mojave Desert and you get to see the many Joshua Trees along the way (much more than at the Joshua Tree National Park).Steve gave us tips on what to see and how to get around at the Skybridge. With this tour you arrive at Eagle Point before most of the larger buses and crowds get there, so it is not as crowded as it becomes later in the day.We had a great view of the Skybridge and the Grand Canyon while having lunch, which is included. We decided to pay a little more and sit outside on the restaurants balcony so we could watch everyone on the Skybridge and enjoy the views of the Grand Canyon. The restaurant does charge to sit outside but we felt it was well worth the price, as we were the only ones enjoying our lunch on the balcony and we felt like we were the only people there. After lunch we took the shuttle bus from Eagle Point to Guano Point. There are some amazing views and we really enjoyed our time on the Hualanai reservation. On our way back to Las Vegas, we stopped at Hoover Dam. This tour actually takes you to the dam itself, not just a view from the Tillman Bridge like other tours do. It was amazing to walk across the dam and marvel at the bridges engineering and the views of Lake Mead. It was an incredible experience and Steve told us about the bridge and how the new Tillman Bridge’s design is inspired by architectural features of Hoover Dam.We actually were lucky enough to see a herd of Big Horn Sheep after our visit to the dam. We stopped to take pictures and they are beautiful animals. This tour was one of the best tours we have ever been on and we really enjoyed our trip and our driver/guide Steve. You will not be disappointed in this tour. We arrived back at our hotel around 4:30, enough time to explore more of Las Vegas.Go and enjoy this tour, it’s well worth it!Brent & Jose
We did the day tour from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and it was incredible. Our driver/tour guide was Steve, who was just awesome during the entire trip. We were given about an hour at each stop to free range on our own, getting to experience each stop how we prefer. It was so fun, I would use this your service again. The van was very clean, comfortable, and the driver was safe. Highly recommended!!10/10
I took the trip to the West rim of the Grand Canyon with a stop at Hoover dam for about an hour. This was in October 2024. Ward was the driver of the Mercedes Sprint, and he was very kind and very knowledgeable had lots of fun facts and interesting info. There were 8 of us on the tour. I was picked up and dropped off as stated in the reservation. I would recommend this trip. Note that the west rim is nothing like going to the South rim of the Grand Canyon. It's not nearly as vast or grand but it is still a great way to get outdoors and cross that off your list and as you can see from the photos, it is quite lovely. And I still get back in vegas in time for dinner.
I recently took a tour with One Day Tours, and I can confidently say that it was an amazing experience! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the sights. Our guide, Steve Clark, truly made the tour unforgettable. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail brought each location to life. He had a fantastic ability to engage the group and share interesting stories that enriched our understanding of the places we visited. Thanks to Steve’s outstanding professionalism, the tour was not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend One Day Tours, especially if you have the chance to be guided by Steve. This experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to book another tour in the future!
